Further development


This is one of my more ambitious projects so far, and I ended up having to adjust my ambitions for what was possible during this game jam. I still think it's a decent playable prototype so I'm happy about that, but I had a lot of ideas that didn't make it in.

Firstly I'd love to expand on the "build support"mechanic.  One of my goals is to inspire and simultaneously teach the player how to build and organize a movement. In the current version a simple button acts as the stand in for all the ground work that takes place before any civil disobedience can take place - putting up posters, posting on social media, organizing meetings, planning etc.

Secondly I'd like expand the campaign with more levels and more types of activists to be deployed for different purposes.  My goal is for the levels to illustrate a progression from  having an impact on a small issue, in a town or municipality, and then move on to bigger targets as your movement and confidence builds and eventually being able to change society.  

Thirdly my plan was to allow the player to  invest in upgrades between levels  to access the new types of activists, make more resources available or automate certain parts of the process.

I'd like to improve the art and audio of the game as well ofc!

Hopefully it'll be possible to add some or all of these parts in the future!
